Napoli pizza & pasta Mar in Hachioji

The pizza is good. The service is not very welcoming. Even though the place is very popular with tourists, the menu (available online) is only available in Italian. You get a real glass if you order beer or wine but only plastic cups for water.

My boyfriend and I went here twice in two days, both around 14:30, and the queue the first day was 40–50 minutes, but the queue the second day was only around 10 minutes. The pizza was definitely worth it though! The crust was perfect and the toppings were great as well. There isn’t an English menu so it can be a bit overwhelming, but the pizzas were really good and despite the wait outside, your food comes very quickly after you order it.

Amazing pizza, I was lucky and got a seat immediately otherwise can get crowded. The quality and taste is amazing and the prices are incredibly low. The only thing is the waiters make a lot of pressure for you to leave quickly.

Not in my taste long queue, no communication, one of the pizzas were fine, the margarita was quite bad, the bread of the pizza was almost dissolved. The female waiter was rude when we didn’t speak Italian to her. I guess they are tried of tourists, I would recommend other places, as there a soo many out alternatives to this place.

So. We got there at 20:15 and put our name on the list. Keep in mind that there’s an indoor list and an outdoor list and they don’t start calling the outdoor list of names until the indoor list has all been called. That’s fine, get a spritz from next door and make some friends to chat and pass the time with. We did. But keep an eye on the list because the mic they use to call names sometimes isn’t very loud and if they call and you don’t hear or they call your foreign name in a way you don’t understand, well... that’s just too bad. You’ll have to fight to get your name put back on the list (at the top, hopefully), and 8 spritz and three hours later you’ll be eating a pizza and it doesn’t really even matter how good it’s supposed to be because you’re so hungry and tipsy that you’d be happy with dog food.

Not my taste, for me too chewy, too thin in the middle, good fresh ingredients thou. It's just the fame but you could skip it and you would not miss anything special

An 1 hour queue for what? Soaked wet pizza? No, thanks. Even tho it looks nice and Instagramable, but there is no point in whole hype around the place. Maybe just do take away :)

The pizza is very good and the price is very affordable. I was lucky and for me was a wait of 15-20min to enter which is not that bad but I wouldn’t wait more than 30min. There are lots of pizza places in Italy were you can have same quality pizza so it is not worth it waiting too much
